Rosewood Crating is a Calgary specialty crating company built around a lead technician with 15 years in the craft — crating art, pianos, vehicles, and industrial equipment across Western Canada long before this name was on the door.

Why crating comes first.

Most damage doesn’t happen in the truck. It happens in the gaps — the wrong box, the rushed wrap, the crate built for a different object.

Rosewood exists to close that gap. We don’t run a moving fleet and we don’t store. The craft is the crate — engineered around an item that can’t be replaced, built on-site at your location or in our shop. And when a piece needs more than shipping, the same team carries it through: delivery arranged, then we uncrate, assemble, and install it where it belongs.

    Dimensions, weight, fragility, and route decide the build. No standard crate sizes forced onto non-standard objects.

    Lumber and bracing chosen for the load, and cushioning matched to the finish it touches.

    The item is never moved unprotected; we build around it where it sits.

  • Documented handling

    Labeled, marked, and photographed before shipping, where required.
